A 37-year-old woman was found in New Haven County around 9:25 p.m., Sunday, March 20 in Meriden after police received multiple 911 calls.
The woman was found lying in the entryway to the Atrium Condominium/apartment complex when officers responded to the scene at 1274 East Main St., reported WTNH News 8.
Medical personnel were called to the scene, however, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, the news channel said.
A preliminary investigation confirmed that shots were fired in the area, officials told News 8.
Police said it is too early to know the circumstances surrounding her death.
The Meriden police have a suspect but no arrests have been made.
